This small town was the first stop on our way to southern California. It has a nice pier on an endless beach. Just south of the town, Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area is the only place in California State Parks system, where one can drive on the beach. I could not resist and almost got out four wheel drive SUV stuck.
