Midway and Sea World

San Diego has a lot of tourist attractions. We visited two of them in one day. A cold war era aircraft carrier, Midway, serves as a museum, where one gets to visit the insides of this huge ship and see an impressive collection of planes and helicopters. The sights of the Sand Diego harbor, the downtown , and the active duty ships of the naval base across the bay are great too. Seaworld is a bit too commercial for my taste and the Sunday crowds did not help. Nevertheless, seeing the killer whales in action and a number of other exhibits and shows was fun.
