This is the only place in the United States where boundaries of four states meet in one spot. Even though this may only be a geographic curiosity, the entire Four Corners region is a worthwhile place to visit, mostly if you are interested in Anasazi ruins. Much of the land in the region is on Indian reservations. These days, a fee is collected by the Navajos to visit the actual "four corners", which happens to be about a quarter mile from a state highway. If they had not collected a fee for visiting, I would have probably bought some of their art.
