Best reached from Glacier Gorge trailhead, a hike to Glass Lake is a very rewarding one. Passing Alberta Falls and the Loch along the way, Glass Lake is found hiding in the upper reaches of the Loch Vale below towering peaks. Due to its exposure to wind, the lake often does justice to its name even in winter as it remain snow free in the middle of a snowy landscape.
