Dream Lake

This is one of the most visited lakes in the Rocky Mountain National Park and deservedly so. It is a short hike from Bear Lake trailhead. In winter, one has to look for the trail a bit in places as there may be tracks leading in all sorts of directions. Hallett Peak provides a dramatic backdrop just behind the lake, and higher up the valley, Emerald Lake and Tyndall Glacier can be reached on an longer hike.
