It was a well above average summer (not foggy) day on one of the San Mateo county beaches we often visit. The beach access is at the mouth of a creek that meanders through the beach. This gives the location a bit extra entertainment and photographic value. It was still too cold by my mom's opinion, but I had fun building a sand castle with the kids and they had probably even more fun destroying it.:-)
